This paper describes the characteristics of the integration of 5G technology and smart buildings,and explores the application scenarios of 5G mobile communication in smart engineering,including 5G+smart security,5G+video surveillance,5G+security robots,5G+drones,5G+AR technology,and 5G+smart operation and maintenance.
