This article introduces the background,principles and basis for the development of TB/T 3568.3—2021 Materials used for non-destructive testing in railway-Part 3:probes for ultrasonic testing,and provides a detailed ex⁃planation of the main revised content,especially the testing of probe performance indicators,including pulse duration,center frequency and relative bandwidth,quint angle,refractive angle,focal length,etc..At the same time,suggestions for the implementation of the standards are proposed,so that inspectors can fully understand and master the stan⁃dards,and testing efficiency and accuracy is improved.
