电商发展对城镇化的关联性分析——基于城乡消费的中介效应

摘要 电子商务是缩小城乡消费差距的重要支撑。运用2014年—2021年的31个省级的面板数据,探究城乡消费差距的中介效应下,电子商务对推动城镇化的重要作用,分别对电子商务和城镇化、城乡消费差距和电子商务、电子商务和城乡消费差距的交互项对城镇化做基准回归。研究结果显示,电子商务发展能够有效地缩小城乡消费差距,城乡消费差距的缩小在推动城镇化的进程中起着正向的中介作用。因此,在推进新型城镇化的进程中要充分利用互联网和电商的优势,大力发展电商经济,重视农村电商基础设施建设,缩小城乡消费差距。 E-commerce development is an effective way to achieve common prosperity and an important support to narrow the gap between urban and rural consumption.In this paper,the provincial panel data from 2014 to 2021 is used to explore the important role of e-commerce in promoting urbanization under the intermediary effect of urban-rural consumption gap.The interaction terms of e-commerce and urbanization,urban-rural consumption gap and e-commerce,and e-commerce and urban-rural consumption gap are respectively used as the benchmark regression for urbanization.The results show that the development of e-commerce can effectively narrow the gap between urban and rural consumption,and the narrowing of the gap between urban and rural consumption plays a positive intermediary role in promoting the process of urbanization.Therefore,in the process of promoting new urbanization,we should make full use of the advantages of the Internet and e-commerce,vigorously develop the e-commerce economy,attach importance to the construction of rural e-commerce infrastructure,and narrow the gap between urban and rural consumption.
