This paper aims to discuss the application research of leather materials in the field of industrial design.As an ancient and classic material,leather has the characteristics of elegance,durability and high texture,and has been widely used in industrial design.Through a review and case analysis of the existing literature,this paper explores the application of leather materials in furniture,automobile,fashion accessories and other fields,and evaluates their advantages and limitations in design.At the same time,the future development trend of leather materials in industrial design is also discussed,in order to provide reference for the research and practice in related fields.
