Through the comprehensive analysis of the interaction between decoration design and space layout,this paper discusses the mutual influence and interdependence between the two in the indoor environment.Reviewed the historical evolution and current situation of decorative design,delved into its origin and development,contemporary mainstream schools and trends,and applied examples in different spaces.Studied the principles and practices of spatial layout,analyzed design principles and theoretical foundations,layout characteristics and requirements of different types of spaces,as well as innovation and practice.Explored the impact and shaping of decorative design on spatial layout,the guidance and limitations of spatial layout on decorative design,and the symbiotic and win-win strategy between decorative design and spatial layout.Through the analysis of practical cases,the successful integration of decorative design and spatial layout was demonstrated,providing beneficial insights for interior design.
