To summarize and analyze the nursing care of a patient with lumbar disc herniation after operation.Targeted integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine nursing program was developed for the patient.Key issues of nursing included diet management,psychological management,pain management,prevention of potential complications and so on.Individualized nursing interventions were carried out to relieve the pain and negative emotions,improve the quality of life and accelerate recovery after surgery.
