On June 4,Chinese State Councilor and Minister of National Defense Li Shangfu delivered a speech at the 20th Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore on China's new security initiative.Li pointed out that Chinese President Xi Jinping put forward the Global Security Initiative,advocated the concept of common,comprehensive,cooperative and sustainable security,and contributed China's wisdom to addressing international security challenges.China has successfully embarked on the path of Chinese modernization,injecting strong impetus to commondevelopment。
