防疫抗疫新闻标题的语用修辞价值--以《人民日报》为例

Pragma-rhetorical values of anti-pandemic news headlines:A case study of People's Daily

在疫情语境下,防疫抗疫新闻标题在推进疫情防控方面发挥着重要作用。本文以语用修辞学为研究视角,基于《人民日报》的防疫抗疫新闻标题语料,阐述其语用修辞特征及其功能。研究发现,其防疫抗疫新闻标题常使用以下语用策略:形式上利用字音、句式的韵律特征和多模态方式;内容上表现为人称指别语、语用预设、语为、强势语、隐含、隐喻、转喻、评价性话语等。该类新闻标题的语用修辞功能有7种:1)介绍防疫抗疫须知;2)发布官方防疫抗疫新闻;3)讲述防疫抗疫事迹;4)表达防疫抗疫决心和信心;5)动员防疫抗疫;6)向防疫抗疫英模致敬;7)诗性美学功能。本文可望助推和谐社会公共话语体系的构建,以及公共话语研究和语用修辞学研究。

In the epidemic context,the news headlines on anti-pandemic play an important role in the prevention and control of epidemic situation.This paper,based on the corpus of People's Daily,explores the pragma-rhetorical features and func-tions of the anti-epidemic news headlines from the perspective of pragma-rhetoric.It is found that these news headlines often employ various pragmatic strategies concerning the form and content.The form includes prosody and multimodality,and the content involves personal deixis,pragmatic presuppositions,practs,boosters,implicatures,metaphors,metonymies,and evaluative expressions.Those news headlines accomplish seven types of pragma-rhetorical functions:notifying anti-epidemic know-hows,releasing official news,telling moving anti-epidemic stories,expressing anti-epidemic determination and convic-tion,anti-epidemic summoning,homage for anti-epidemic heroes,and poetic-aesthetic function.This study can hopefully fa-cilitate a harmonious public discourse system as well as interface studies of pragmatics and rhetoric.
