The Potala Palace is home to three special Buddha statues dating to China's Northern Wei dynasty.Not only are they some of the earliest statues preserved in the Potala Palace,but they were also crafted using a particular alloy.What significance do these statues have for the study of Gandhara culture and Chinese civilization,and what sorts of connections do they have to Tibetan Buddhism?
