贝聿铭博物馆建筑设计手法探究——以苏州博物馆与多哈伊斯兰艺术博物馆为例

EXPLORATION ON IEOH MING PEI'S MUSEUM DESIGN APPROACH——TAKING SUZHOU MUSEUM AND MUSEUM OF ISLAMIC ART IN DOHA AS EXAMPLES

作为一位以工程学为根基的现代主义建筑师,贝聿铭认为艺术和历史是建筑的精髓,艺术、历史和建筑是合为一体、密不可分的。本文通过对贝聿铭设计的苏州博物馆和多哈伊斯兰艺术博物馆的建筑特色展开分析,总结贝聿铭在为不同文化背景的博物馆进行建筑设计时,如何既体现现代风格又保留民族文化特色,避免城市建筑形式的趋同。

As a modernist architect with roots in engineering,leoh Ming Pei(l.M.Pei)believed that art and history were the essence of architecture.and that art,history and architecture were inseparable.By analyzing the architectural characteristics of Suzhou Museum and Museum of Islamic Art in Doha designed by I.M.Pei,this paper summarizes how L.M.Pei embodies modern style while preserving national cultural characteristics and avoiding the convergence of urban architecture in his architecture design for museums of different cultural backgrounds.
