随着国家经济建设和科研教育的迅速发展以及测绘服务需求的增大、地图保障服务能力的提升,地图集内容已发展到涉及所有区域性学科以及许多生产部门,在国民经济和社会生活等方面的应用越来越广泛,因此对地图集产品质量的控制尤为重要。从地图集专题图设计质量控制和制作质量控制两方面,详细阐述了图集中专题地图的专题主题、专题内容、专题资料、基础地理底图要素和专题要素诸多方面的质量控制流程、重点及方法,探讨、总结了地图集中专题地图质量控制的作用,对行业做好专题地图保障服务工作具有借鉴意义。

With the rapid development of national economic construction,scientific research and education,the increasing demand for surveying and mapping services and the enhancement of capability of map support services,the contents of Atlas have spread to all regional disciplines and many production sectors with its wide application in national economy and social life,which shows the importance to control the quality of Atlas.From the atlas thematic map design quality control and production quality control,we expounded the quality control flow,key points and methods of thematic maps in atlas in detail,including thematic themes,thematic contents,thematic materials,basic geographical base map elements and thematic elements.We probed into and summarized the functions of thematic map quality control in atlas,which could provide a reference for the industry to better guarantee thematic map service.
