This paper introduces the basic concept and development status of lithium-ion battery vehicles,analyzes the legal requirements and practices on the transportation of lithium-ion battery vehicles on ro-ro passenger ships,points out the existing problems,and proposes countermeasures for the maritime administration aiming at ensuring the safe transportation of lithium-ion battery vehicles on ro-ro passenger ships.
