乾隆《潼川府志》是现存清代潼川府第一部府志。主修者张松孙以地方官和学者的双重身份主持编纂,并邀当地学者积极参与,保证了志书编纂的质量。该志在体例上推陈出新,确定纲领,调整目次;在内容上补旧志阙略,精于考订,保存了大量社会经济、区域地理、文化教育等方面史料,对研究探讨清中期潼川府地区的社会实态具有重要意义。

The Qianlong's Tongchuan fu Zhi is the first extant prefectural magazine of Tongchuan Prefecture in the Qing Dynasty.It was compiled by Zhang Songsun in his dual capacity as a magistrate and a scholar,with the active participation of local scholars,to ensure the quality of the compilation.The annals bring forth the old and bring forth the new in style,determine the program and adjust the contents;In the content,it supplements the old records and is good at textual research,preserving a large amount of historical material on social economy,regional geography,culture and education,which is of great importance to the study of the social realities of the Tongchuan prefecture in the mid-Qing period.
