Philosophical Interpretation of the Sinicization of Marxism

“马克思主义中国化”一词自党的六届六中全会提出,已历时80多年。自20世纪末学术界再次掀起重新研究的热潮,业已延续20余年。历年来,其理论意涵、实践意涵、政治意涵、社会意涵、文化意涵、思想史意涵、精神意识形态意涵、中外文明融合意涵、时代化大众化意涵等被附加了异常丰富的意义。这里仅探讨一个本源性问题,即“中国化”究竟“是什么”。其实质包含三个方面:1.“所化者”是什么样的客体,即何种“马克思主义”?2.“化”是一种什么性质的运动?3.“化成者”是什么,即中国化的理论产物,它价值上应当“化”成什么样的?它事实上“化”成了什么样的?本文就此评述了众多学者的研究成果并加以讨论。

The term“Sinicization of Marxism”has been put forward since the sixth plenary session of the Party in Yan'an for more than 80 years.Since the end of the 20th century,the upsurge of re-study has continued for more than 20 years.Over the years,its connotation has been attached with an exceptionally rich meaning.Theoretical,practical,political,social,cultural,history of thought,spiritual and ideological,the integration of Chinese and foreign civilizations,the popularization of the times,and so on.This article is only to pursue a fundamental philosophical question:what is“Sinicization”?Its essence consists of three“What's”:1.What kind of object is the“transmuter”?What kind of“Marxism”?2.What kind of movement is“hua”?3.What's a“shapeshifter”?That is,the theoretical product of sinicization:what should it be“transformed”into in terms of value?What has it actually“turned”into?This paper reviews and discusses the research achievements of many scholars.
