Global Significance of Building a Community with Shared Future for Humanity from the Perspective of"Global Civilization Initiative"

与西方语境下现代文明“一元论”和“冲突论”的鼓吹者不同,马克思从承认世界文明的多元性与交互关联性的角度理解现代文明,认为其是一个客观的事实判断,本身并不蕴含特殊于社会历史之外的价值判断,不是历史的终结,也不等于西方文明。不同国家和地区发展起来的现代化形式应当与其自身的文明传统和文明特色相适应。“全球文明倡议”正是基于马克思主义的文明观,对西方现代文明观的历史唯物主义反思而提出的文明畅想。它倡导尊重世界文明多样性、弘扬全人类共同价值、重视文明传承和创新、加强国际人文交流合作,从具有超越性的价值理念层面为人类社会的发展提供一种建构性的前进方向,内含着构建人类命运共同体的规范性原则,为构建人类命运共同体注入世界意义。

On the one hand,unlike the advocates of the"Monism"and"Conflict Theory"of modern civilization in the Western context,Marx understood modern civilization from the perspective of recognizing the plurality and interrelatedness of world civilizations,and believed that it boasts the following three layers of meanings.First,it is an objective factual judgment,which does not imply a special value judgment in itself.Second,it is not the end of history.Third,it does not equal Western civilization.On the other hand,the forms of modernization developed in different countries and regions should correspond to their own civilizational traditions and characteristics.Generally speaking,the"Global Civilization Initiative"is a civilizational vision based on the Marxist view of civilization and a historical materialist reflection on the modern Western view of civilization.Firstly,it advocates respecting the diversity of world civilizations and promoting the common values of all humanity.Secondly,it attaches importance to civilization inheritance and innovation,and strengthens international humanistic exchanges and cooperation.Lastly,it provides a constructive direction for the development of human society from the level of transcendent values and concepts,which contains the normative principles for building a community with shared future for humanity,thereby injecting global significance into the building of a community with shared future for humanity.
