In order to better maintain the operational quality of transformer applications,it is necessary to analyze the existing problems in a timely manner based on the operating environment,implement controllable treatment plans for fault phenomena,reduce the adverse effects caused by the retention of hidden dangers,and achieve the goal of harmonious and unified economic and safety benefits.The article briefly analyzes the significance of transformer on-load tap changer maintenance,discusses the troubleshooting process,and finally focuses on exploring the fault phenomenon and troubleshooting methods with a case study.
