水稻褐飞虱由于其迁飞性、爆发性、变异性和抗药性等特点,位列影响全国粮食生产最严重“十大病虫害”之首。随着水稻抗褐飞虱基因发掘、克隆与抗虫性分子机理研究的深入,新的抗虫育种策略正在形成,以抗褐飞虱品种为基础的褐飞虱绿色可持续治理已逐步成为现实。
