In order to probe into the impacts of Shanghai-style aesthetics on the value increase of jade carving and its creation prospects,this article analyzes characteristics of Shanghai-style aesthetics and market demand for artistic improvement of jade carving.Through the research on aesthetic value framework of Shanghai-style jade carving,with reference to design practice and creation of high-grade Hotan Nephrite,this article expounds on value unleashing and growth of jade carving under Shanghai-style aesthetics.
