The typeface design of MAXAM brand is a rare and excellent typeface design in the 1960s.In that period of the intersection of Eastern and Western cultures,Shanghai benefited from its unique geographical advantages and formed a colorful and wonderful artistic atmosphere.Calligraphy art was born in such a good atmosphere.Due to the close combination of calligraphy and business at that time,The trends are encouraging.During this period,various artistic designs represented b y the font design of MAXAM brand were also born.This paper studies and analyzes the font design background,designers'ideas and methods,as well as the aesthetic rules of the font design of MAXAM brand,and reflects the reflection on how to develop the font design in the prosperity and changeable era.
