李加珍:感受善意成为光,照亮他人前行的路,为了帮助失学女童重返校园,1989年,在党中央的亲切关怀下,在全国妇联的领导下,中国儿童少年基金会发起实施了致力于改善贫困家庭女童受教育状况的“春蕾计划”公益项目。党的十八大以来,在以习近平同志为核心的党中央重视关心下,在“春蕾计划”促进女童教育特使彭丽媛亲力亲为和有力推动下,“春蕾计划”围绕女童教育、女童安全、女童健康等开展了多种形式的关爱帮扶工作。十年来,共资助春蕾女童176万人次,为13.34万人次春蕾女童提供一对一陪伴服务和个性化心理疏导。这些女童在受到资助后,不忘回馈社会,用爱和行动生动诠释了“自强不息、向上向善、追求美好”的春蕾精神。本刊特开设“春蕾花开”专栏,通过讲述已经成长成才的春蕾女童故事,进一步激发社会关心关爱女童发展,让新时代的春蕾女童在党和政府以及社会各界的呵护下,受到良好教育,实现人生梦想,拥有美好未来。
SpringBud Girl Contributes Public-Interest to Causes,With the care of the Communist Party of China(CPC)Central Committee,and under the leadership of the All-China Women's Federation,the China Children and Teenagers'Fund(CCTF)launched the Spring Bud Project in 1989,to help impoverished girls return to school,and to promote girls'education in disadvantaged areas.Since the 18th CPC National Congress,in 2012,the project has carried out various actions,focused on girls'education,safety and health,to care for and support girls.During the past decade,the project has supported 1.76 million girls,and it has provided one-on-one companionship services and personalized psychological counseling to 133,400 girls.After they receive support from the project,the Spring Bud girls never forget to give back to society.With love and various actions,the girls have demonstrated the Spring Bud spirit of“unremitting self-improvement,striving for excellence,developing stronger virtues and pursuing better lives.”Women of China recently introduced a new section,Spring Bud Blooms,to share stories about Spring Bud girls who have grown up and become contributing members of society,and to encourage society to care for the development of girls.Spring Bud girls in the new era will receive a high-quality education,realize their dreams and embrace a better future,with the care of the Party,the government and all segments of society.
