疑与胜解:唯识学中歧义的产生与消除

摘要 歧义问题一直是语言哲学中引人关注的研究议题。这一议题主要涉及歧义如何产生,以何种形式存在,以及如何消除歧义以得到确定意义。既往对歧义的研究,基本囿于狭窄的语言学范畴,从符号认知哲学视角的研究乏善可陈。唯识学作为一种阐释心之认识的东方认知哲学,包含了对歧义问题的独到阐释。在唯识学理论中,“疑心所”与“胜解心所”两个认知“心所”,不仅指出了歧义产生的原因,还展示了唯识学如何消解歧义,以获得确定意义的路径。 Ambiguity has always been a research topic of interest in the philosophy of language and rhetoric.The main interest is in how and in what form ambiguity arises and how to eliminate ambiguity to arrive at a definite meaning.However,studies of ambiguity have been confined to narrow linguistic categories,and litle research has been conducted from the perspective of cognitive philosophy.As a kind of oriental philosophy of cognition,the Mind-only School proposes a unique interpretation of ambiguity in which the two cognitive psychological states of doubt and understanding not only point out the causes of ambiguity but also show how idealism resolves ambiguity to obtain the path to determining meaning.
