一种水性上浆剂处理对碳纤维/聚丙烯界面性能的影响

摘要 在复合材料中,界面作为连接两相、传递应力的重要“桥梁”,其结合的强弱通常取决于碳纤维(CF)和树脂基体的物理、化学性能。采用一种针对聚丙烯树脂(PP)的水性上浆剂,通过浸渍法对碳纤维进行上浆处理。选用表面基本无上浆剂的热解回收碳纤维对上浆剂的界面改善效果进行评价,测试上浆前后碳纤维表面形貌、化学组成及与PP树脂间的界面剪切强度。结果表明,上浆后再生碳纤维表面的沟壑被填补,形成一层浆膜;增加了上浆剂中的C=O伸缩振动引起的特征峰,O/C的比值从4.36提升到了12.10,含氧官能团的比例明显增加;碳纤维和聚丙烯之间的界面剪切强度提高了18.95%。上浆剂作为界面,成功增强了碳纤维与聚丙烯之间的结合力。 The interface is an important“bridge”to connect two phases and transfer stress in composites,and its bonding strength usually depends on the carbon fiber(CF)and physical and chemical properties of resin matrix.A water-based sizing designed for polypropylene(PP)resin was adopted to size carbon fiber by dipping method.The pyrolysis recycled carbon fiber without sizing agent on the surface was selected to evaluate the im⁃provement effects of the interface of the sizing agent.The surface morphology,the chemical composition and the interface shear strength between PP resin and carbon fibers before and after sizing were tested.The results showed that the grooves on the surface of the recycled carbon fiber were filled and a slurry film was formed after sizing.The characteristic peak caused by C=O stretching vibration in sizing agent increased.The O/C ratio increased from 4.36 to 12.10,the proportion of oxygen-containing functional groups increased significantly and the interface shear strength increased by 18.95%between the carbon fiber and polypropylene.As the interface,the sizing agent successfully enhanced the bonding force between carbon fiber and polypropylene.
