摘要
1914年秋,黄侃应聘北京大学中文系讲授词章学课程,《文心雕龙札记》即黄侃专为该课程撰写的授课讲义。词章学乃民国教育部1913年规定的大学中文系主课之一,其内容涵盖今日所谓文学概论、名作讲析及诗文写作训练等方面,其授课时间更是长达三年,这从根本上决定了黄侃对《文心雕龙》篇目的取舍和《文心雕龙札记》一书的撰写体例,而黄侃同期撰写的《诗品讲疏》《阮籍咏怀诗补注》《文选平点》《词辨选》等也同为词章学课程的辅助教材。1917年北京大学文科改革,词章学被拆解为文学概论和断代/分体文学作品选讲等多门课程,1919年黄侃离开北京大学,《文心雕龙札记》的写作就此中断。从范文澜《文心雕龙讲疏》对《文心雕龙札记》的征引,我们可以管窥《文心雕龙札记》北京大学讲义原貌,而通过比较近年拍卖的黄侃批改《文心雕龙札记》讲义合订本与他本文字的异同,不难知晓黄侃对《文心雕龙札记》一书的真实态度及所做修订。
In the autumn of 1914,Huang Kan was appointed to teach a course in Poetics(词章学)in the Chinese Department of Peking University.Notes on Literary Mind and Dragon Carving is a lecture note specially wrtten by Huang Kan for this course.Poetics is one of the main courses of the Chinese department in universities stipulated by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China in 1913.Its content covers aspects such as the introduction to literature,analysis of famous works,and training in poetry and prose writing.Its teaching time is as long as three years,which fundamentally determined Huang Kan's choice of the titles in Notes on Literary Mind and Dragon Carving and the writing style of the notes.In 1917,during the liberal arts reform at Peking University,Poetics was divided into several courses,including introduction to literature and selected lectures on teaching literature by dynasty or style.From Fan Wenlan's Commentary on Literary Mind and Dragon Carving to the citation of the book,we could glimpse the original appearance of the Notes as Peking University's lecture handout.By comparing the similarities and differences between Huang Kan's revised version of the lecture notes auctioned in recent years and other texts,it is not difficult to understand Huang Kan's real attitude and revisions to the work.
