The somatic theory of East Asian Confucianism mainly discusses the multiple aspects of the body, from the individual interpenetration of the"body"and"mind"to the symbiosis of pan-Asian Confucianism. In recent years,Chinese and Korean sci-fi flms have gradually moved towards the native bio-chemistry,and the image texts in this process show a value orientation different from that of western sci-fi flms, which is mainly reflected in the ethical tension between"qi",the"body"and the"mind",and the system of harmony between heaven(nature)and earth(society)is maintained by the individual(body).Using East Asian Confucianism to study the multiple cultural meanings of body in Chinese and Korean sci-fi films,we can explore the East Asian Confucian community implied in the pan-Asian practice of science fiction images.
