摘要
Despite being unnoticed women at the time,Emily Dickinson and Yu Xiuhua,two female poets of different generations and countries,their works shook the poetry world in a powerful way.Trapped in a small place in their lives,their poems express the same desire for love and the world.Through many metamorphic imagery,their poems transcend themselves from their small bodies,small rooms,and small villages to a vast spiritual world.Such kind of transformation helps the poets integrate poetry into their lives,break the“double bind”for female poets,and express their repressed love and self-assertion.
