The arrival of the metaverse era has brought new opportunities to the development of university libraries.Based on the concept,connotation and characteristics of the metaverse,this paper analyzes the application of the metaverse in various industries,discusses the application status and future application scenarios of the metaverse technology in university libraries,analyzes the difficulties in the construction of the current metaverse library application scenarios,and puts forward several countermeasures.
