秦岭佛教碑刻价值初探

A Preliminary Study on the Value of Buddhist Inscriptions on Tablets Found in the Qinling Mountains

秦岭佛教碑刻之于中国佛教史抑或佛教中国化的研究,具有重要的学术价值。本文以秦岭所见佛教碑刻为考察对象,以佛教中国化的历史进程为宏大背景,就其在建寺弘法及译经、宗派创立及流传、区域发展及流布、造像功德及信仰等方面的学术价值,进行了初步说明和归纳。由此提出,学界应注重秦岭佛教碑刻资料的搜集整理和运用。

The Buddhist inscriptions on tablets found in the Qinling Mountains have important academic value for the study of Chinese Buddhist history or the sinicization of Buddhism.This paper takes Buddhist inscriptions found in the Qinling Mountains as the research object,and takes the historical process of sinicization of Buddhism as the grand background.It provides a preliminary explanation and summary of the academic value of these objects in temple construction,Buddhist scripture translation,sect establishment and dissemination,regional development and dissemination of Buddhism,statue merit and faith and other aspects,and proposes that the academic community should pay attention to the collection,organization,and application of Buddhist inscriptions in the Qinling Mountains.
