Taking the situation of engineering cost exceeding budget as the main research object,this paper first discusses the importance of engineering cost budgeting work,then analyzes the main reasons for the situation of engineering cost exceeding budget,and puts forward a series of targeted solutions on this basis,such as strengthening the management of engineering cost compilation,establishing a sound engineering cost budget analysis system,and reducing engineering changes.The purpose is to provide some reference for the daily work of the engineering cost compilation personnel,and to promote the smooth operation and sustainable and healthy development of the construction engineering industry while continuously improving the rationality and accuracy of the engineering cost.
