摘要
中间品进口质量与本土企业技术吸收能力的不匹配是阻碍出口产品质量提升的重要因素。利用2000—2014年的微观数据实证分析了“质价平衡”中间品进口对企业出口产品质量的影响。研究结果表明,“质价平衡”中间品的进口显著促进出口产品质量提升,在考虑样本偏误及内生性问题后这一结果依然稳健;机制分析表明企业人力资本高级化与促研发效应是“质价平衡”中间品影响出口产品质量的重要机制;进一步区分企业与行业异质性发现,现阶段“质价平衡”中间品进口对于加工贸易企业、外资企业及技术密集型行业产品质量的提升效果更强。
The mismatch between the import quality of intermediate goods and the technological absorption capacity of local enterprises is an important reason for the quality improvement of export products.Based on the micro data from 2000 to 2014,this paper empirically analyzes the impact of import of intermediate goods of“quality-price balance”on export products quality.The results show that the import of intermediate goods of“quality-price balance”significantly promotes the quality improvement of export products,and this result is still robust after considering the sample bias and endogeneity problems.The analysis of the mechanism shows that the optimization of human capital and the effect of promoting R&D are the important mechanisms for the intermediate goods of“quality-price balance”to affect the quality of export products;further distinguishing the heterogeneity of enterprises and industries,it is found that the import of intermediate goods of“quality-price balance”has a stronger effect on improving the product quality of processing trade enterprises,foreign-funded enterprises and technology-intensive industries.
