Chinese-style modernization is a socialist modernization with the Communist Party of China as its leading core,and it has unique characteristics that are in line with China's national conditions in terms of its implementation pathway.The modernization process is always accompanied by the transformation of structures such as the relationships between industry,agriculture,urban and rural areas.However,China's modernization,which consists of industrialization,urbanization,agricultural modernization,and informatization,is a"parallel"process,which is different from the"serial"'process of modernization in major Western developed economies.In academic terms,the judgment basis for China's"parallel"modernization is its characteristics of"short period","intense strength",and"new developing features".The formation of these characteristics is mainly derived from the advantage of backwardness under the background of opening up,regional experiments in the major country economy,and institutional advantages in transnational comparisons.Among them,China's unique institutions in the economic and social fields provide fundamental guarantees for the formation of"parallel"'modernization.Deeply understanding the path characteristics and formation logic of China's"parallel"'modernization has(1)important implications for other developing countries to explore the path to modernization as well as promoting the global economic and social development,(2)has a promoting effect on innovating and expanding existing economic theories,and(3)has practical implications for promoting the cause of China's socialist modernization.
