This article analyzes artworks themed building socialism created since the new era from the perspective of responsibility ethics in new ethics theory,and explores roles that they have played in aesthetic education that emphasizes cultural confidence of China and the Chinese nation.It discusses the value of responsibility ethics in theme-based artistic creation,the aesthetic value of theme-based art in the new era,and the value of applying traditional Chinese freehand spirits to theme-based creation.
