我国英文期刊集群化发展与启示——以中国激光杂志社为例

English journal cluster development and enlightenment: A case study of Chinese Laser Press

【目的】在国外出版机构不断扩大集群化运作规模的环境下,探索具有中国特色的英文期刊集群化发展之路。【方法】以中国激光杂志社6种英文期刊为研究对象,按照创刊顺序,从期刊定位、办刊特色和发展实践等方面探讨英文期刊集群化发展的可行方案。【结果】通过打造层次分明的期刊布局、自主办刊实现期刊可持续发展、推动集群化运作和融合发展等举措,中国激光杂志社力争打造世界一流英文科技期刊,建设国际出版平台。【结论】通过一系列的改革和创新,中国激光杂志社英文期刊的影响力持续提升,数字化平台建设初具规模,其集群化发展实践可为国内出版机构提供参考。

[Purposes]This paper aims to study the cluster development of English journal cluster with Chinese characteristics under the circumstances of the clustering expansion of international journal publishers.[Methods]The feasible plan for developing English journal cluster was explored from the aspects of journal positioning,editorial features,and development practice based on six English journals of Chinese Laser Press in chronological order.[Findings]By virtue of a clear hierarchical layout of journals,independent publication and sustainable development,and measures of cluster operation and integration development,Chinese Laser Press strives to build world-class English journals and establish an international publishing platform.[Conclusions]English journals published by Chinese Laser Press have a growing international influence thanks to a series of reforms and innovations.The publishing platform is well established,and its cluster development practice can serve as a beneficial model for other publishers in China.
