摘要
本文研究以工业机器人为代表的人工智能技术如何影响制造业企业全要素生产率,并且探究工业机器人影响制造业企业全要素生产率的作用机制。研究发现,工业机器人显著促进了制造业企业全要素生产率提升;中介效应分析发现,工业机器人能够通过提高人力资本、降低管理性交易成本进而实现制造业企业全要素生产率提升;异质性检验发现,工业机器人促进制造业企业全要素生产率提升的作用在东部地区企业、非污染密集型企业中更为明显。为此,政府要为企业使用工业机器人提供良好的外部环境,企业要加大工业机器人的应用,扩大工业机器人的使用类型,从而更好地推动制造业企业高质量发展。
This paper studies how artificial intelligence technology represented by industrial robots affects the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises,and explores the impact mechanism of industrial robots on the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises.It is found that industrial robots significantly promote the total factor productivity in manufacturing enterprises;the analysis of mediating effect shows that industrial robots can increase the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises by improving human capital and reducing management transaction costs;the heterogeneity test shows that the role of industrial robots in promoting the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises is more obvious in the eastern region and among non-pollution-intensive enterprises.Therefore,the government should provide a good external environment for enterprises to use industrial robots,and enterprises should increase the application of industrial robots and expand the use type of industrial robots,so as to better promote the high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises.
