戴复古作为南宋江湖诗派的代表诗人之一,深受理学的影响。其诗歌或者以理学思想为旨归,直接表达其理学见解;或者在写景叙事、往来酬唱中反映安贫乐道、从容达观的处世态度,清介自守、独立自持的心性品格,悠游泉林、静养其德的自得自适,蕴含着丰富的理学色彩和理学意味。其诗歌风格平淡质朴,用词不避俚俗,显示出理学在文字表述上的特质。

As one of the representative poets of the Jianghu poetry school of the Southern Song Dynasty,Dai Fugu was deeply influenced by Neo-Confucianism.His poems either take the ideology as the goal and express his views directly,or reflect the life attitude toward poverty,peace and content⁃ment in the world,the independent and self-sufficient character of his mind,and the self-cultivation of his virtue in the leisurely wandering in springs and forests,which contain abundant meanings of Neo-Confucianism.His poetic style is plain and simple,and he doesn't avoid using slang,showing the characteristics of Neo-Confucianism in the expression of words.
