Dachen Island Reclamation Spirit is the manifestation of the fighting spirit in which the Party led the people to fight the sky and the earth,reorganize the mountains and seas,and change the sky and the land during the socialist construction period.The core lies in one main body(reclamation members),two goals(construction and development),and three elements(belief,cultivation and prac⁃tice),that is,generations of reclamation members'reliance on the three elements of ideal,cultivation and practice,carrying forward the spirit of brave struggle,dare to struggle,and good struggle,and hav⁃ing realized the transformation of Dachen Island from the devastation to the"pearl of the East China Sea"and opened up a new journey from the high-quality building of a moderately well-off island to a modernized one.This spirit of struggle has an important era enlightenment for the socialist development of the"new reclamation"and for the Party members and cadres with the task of building a new era.
