研究范式、本体论预设与机制解释的方法论是哲学反思海洋史学的三个基本向度。从海洋与全球互动互构的历史层面看,共同体范式可以扬弃和超越区域史范式,有助于超越自我中心论,有助于解构西方文明普世化的价值取向;范式创新的动力来源于本体论预设的变革,从本体论预设演化类型看,海缘社会是更具创新性和包容性功能的海洋本体论预设,它有助于建构面向命运共同体范式的海洋史观。从机制解释的层面看,因果关系的综合分析与解释,有助于超越目的论困境,有助于把抽象思辨的哲学理念变成具体科学的海洋史叙事。

The three dimensions of philosophical reflection on maritime history are research paradigms,ontological premises,and mechanism-based explanation.The community paradigm can sublate and transcend the regional history paradigm,help transcend“egocentrism”,and help deconstruct the universalized value orientation of Western civilization from the perspective of the interaction and interconstruction of ocean and global history.The ontological premises are what drive paradigm innovation.In terms of the type of evolution of ontological premises,the sea-based social ecology is the most innovative maritime ontological premises,which helps to construct a community-oriented view of maritime history.At the level of mechanism-based explanation,the verification and falsification of causality is a prerequisite for drawing conclusions,which helps to transcend teleology and to transform abstract discursive philosophical ideas into a concrete scientific narrative of maritime history.
