论《元经》的史学价值

On the Historical Value of Yuan Jing

隋代王通所作《元经》,在编撰方面具有叙述的贯通性、材料的简明性、正统的凸显性以及对《春秋》的比拟性等突出特点。其保存了一些《晋书》没有的史料、一些与《晋书》不同的史料;这些史料可以与《晋书》互勘互证,具有一定的价值,值得进一步整理和研究。《元经》的史学价值理应引起学界的关注与重视。

Yuan Jing,written by Wang Tong in Sui Dynasty,is characterized by the coherence of the narrative,the conciseness of the materials,the prominence of the orthodoxy,and the analogy to the Spring and Autumn Annals in its compilation.It has preserved some historical materials which are not found in the Book of Jin,and some historical materials which are different from those in the Book of Jin;these historical materials can be cross-checked and cross-corroborated with those in the Book of Jin,which are of certain value and worthy of further sorting out and studying.The historical material value of Yuan Jing deserves the attention of the academic circles.
