“续”的语境实验及启示

“续”是在给定语境下的语言学习活动,语境是“续”的要素之一。为研究“续”过程中语境对词汇理解、运用和记忆的作用程度,运用语境测试实验和访谈的方法,探查了语境对英语词语学习的影响。对实验结果和访谈的分析发现:合适的语境能提高对生词理解和运用的正确率,语境越易于理解、越丰富,学生对词语理解和运用的准确度越高。但语境对单词保持的作用不明显。分析得到的启示是:设计“续”任务时要给学生提供丰富并易于理解的语境,将它与构词法、词源学知识结合起来,为学生提供多重选择生词表,帮助他们正确理解、使用并保持词汇。

"Xu"is a language learning activity in a given context,which is one of the elements.To study the effect of context on vocabulary comprehension,using and memorizing,with the methods of contextual testing experiments and interviews,the author probes the influence of context on English word learning.An analysis of experimental results and interviews reveals that appropriate context can improve the accuracy of understanding and using new words.The easier and richer the context is,the higher the accuracy of students'understanding and use of words.However,context has little effect on word retention.The inspiration obtained from the analysis is that when designing the"continuation"task,it is necessary to provide students with rich and easy-to-understand context,with which combine the knowledge of word formation and etymology.And multiple vocabulary lists should also be provided.
