A Research on Feast Pictures in Mural Burials in the Han Dynasty

宴饮图在汉代率先出现于西安地区,之后在其他地区的墓葬中陆续出现,成为壁画墓中不可或缺的内容。东汉末期之前的宴饮图形式多样、富有变化,但是到了东汉末期却逐渐走向一致,在魏晋时期形成了固定的模式。

In the Han Dynasty,feast pictures first appeared in Xian and then spread to other areas,gradually becoming an indispensable component of mural burials.The author conducts a rough research on feast pictyres in the Han Dynasty though collecting murals and documentary records,and finds that feast pictures took various forms by the late Eastern Han Dynasty,after which they became homogenous,and eventually took a fixed pattern during the Wei-Jin Dynasties.
