环状RNA表达与神经胶质瘤临床病理特征和预后相关性的Meta分析

Correlations between Circular RNA Expression and Clinicopathological Features and Prognosis of Neurogliomas:A Meta-analysis

目的系统评价环状RNA(circRNA)表达与神经胶质瘤患者临床病理特征和预后的关系。方法系统性检索PubMed、Embase、知网、万方数据库搜集circRNA与神经胶质瘤相关的文献,检索时间为2000年1月1日至2021年3月1日。依据纳入与排除标准,由两名研究员独立筛选文献并提取资料,采用纽卡斯尔-渥太华量表(NOS)工具对纳入文献进行质量评价,采用Stata 12.0软件进行Meta分析。结果共纳入20项符合标准的研究,包括1634例神经胶质瘤患者。相关性分析显示,cirRNA表达与患者的年龄、WHO分级、肿瘤大小及Karnofsky评分具有相关性(P<0.01)。预后分析结果显示,表达上调的circRNA与神经胶质瘤患者预后总生存期(OS)缩短相关(HR=2.26,95%CI 1.95~2.62,P<0.001),而表达下调的circRNA与神经胶质瘤患者OS延长相关(HR=0.68,95%CI 0.55~0.83,P<0.001)。结论circRNA表达与神经胶质瘤的肿瘤大小、WHO分级、Karnofsky评分及预后相关,可作为评估神经胶质瘤预后的分子指标。

Objective To systematically evaluate the correlations between circular RNA(circRNA)expression and the clinical pathological features and prognosis of patients with neuroglioma.Methods The literature related to circRNA and glioma was systematically searched in PubMed,Embase,CNKI and Wanfang database from Jan.1st,2000 to Mar.1st,2021.According to inclusion and exclusion criteria,two researchers independently screened the literature and extracted the data.Newcastle-ottawa scale(NOS)was used to evaluate the quality of the included literature,and Stata 12.0 software was used for meta-analysis.Results Altogether 20 researches that measured up to criterion were included,including 1634 cases of neuroglioma.The correlation analysis showed that the circRNA expression had correlation with patients′age,WHO grade,tumor size and Karnofsky score(P<0.01).The results of prognostic analysis indicated that up-regulated circRNA expression was associated with shortened overall survival(OS)of the patients(HR=2.26,95%CI 1.95-2.62,P<0.001),and the down-regulated circRNA expression was associated with prolonged OS(HR=0.68,95%CI 0.55-0.83,P<0.001).Conclusion CircRNA expression was correlated with tumor size,WHO grade Karnofsky scores and prognosis,which can be used as molecular indexes in the evaluation of neuroglioma prognosis.
