同源异型盒基因MEOX2在恶性肿瘤中的研究进展

Research Progress of Homeobox Gene MEOX2 in Malignant Tumor

MEOX2基因属于同源异型盒转录因子家族,与大量信号转导通路有关,是细胞分化、血管生成及胚胎发育等的重要调控基因。MEOX2基因的表达异常与喉癌、肾母细胞瘤等恶性肿瘤的发生发展及淋巴结转移有关,但在乳腺癌、非小细胞肺癌等恶性肿瘤中,不同的研究得出的结论不同,有的认为其在肿瘤的发生发展中起抑制作用,有的则发现其促进肿瘤的发生发展。因此,为了明确MEOX2基因在恶性肿瘤中的具体作用,需要采用新的研究方法,或加大样本量,进行多角度、多中心的研究。

Mesenchyme homeobox 2(MEOX2)gene belongs to the homeobox transcription factor family,which is associated with a large number of signal transduction pathways and is an important regulator of cell differentiation,angiogenesis and embryo development.The abnormal expression of MEOX2 gene is associated with the occurrence,development and metastasis of malignant tumors such as laryngeal cancer and nephroblastoma.However,in the study of breast cancer,non-small cell lung cancer and other malignant tumors,different studies have drawn different conclusions,some believe that it plays an inhibitory role in the occurrence and development of tumors,and some find that it promotes the occurrence and development of tumors.Therefore,in order to clarify the role of MEOX2 gene in malignant tumors,it is necessary to adopt new research methods,or increase the sample size,and further conduct multi-angle and multi-center studies.
