From“Disembedding”to“Embedded”:Modern Translation of the Humanistic Spirit of Traditional Academies

书院制住宿建筑作为培育全面型人才的新载体,是当前高校建设中重要的一环。通过对中国高等教育机构在近代的演进历程进行梳理,分析书院制宿舍脱域现象的社会历史原因,进而阐述脱域化背景下书院制宿舍的弊端,最后尝试探寻在具体设计层面如何通过文化转译的方式将传统书院的精神嵌入书院制宿舍中。以期为未来大学书院制宿舍建设提供理论依据和设计指导。

As a new carrier of cultivating comprehensive talents,college-style accommodation buildings are an important link in the current construction of universities.By combing and analyzing the evolution process of Chinese higher education institutions in modern times,this paper analyzes the social and historical reasons for the phenomenon of college-style accommodation buildings’“disembedding”,and then expounds the disadvantages of college-style accommodation buildings under the background of“disembedding”.Finally,it tries to explore how to embed the spirit of traditional colleges into college-style accommodation buildings through cultural translation at the specific design level,in order to provide theoretical basis and design guidance for the future college dormitory construction.
