中国文学外译研究的问题导向与比较视野

Problem Orientation and Comparative Perspective of Research on Translation of Chinese Literature

中外文明交流互鉴的时代语境下,中国文学外译的重要性和迫切性越来越凸显,中国文学外译研究亟待进一步加强。结合当下相关讨论中存在的一些不足和困惑,本文提出可从以下两方面推进中国文学外译研究:一是以问题为导向,聚焦中国文学外译所涉及的翻译定位、翻译方法、文本接受与审美批评等核心问题,力求把握其本质特征与价值目标,全面观照整个文学译介动态过程;二是构建一种比较视野,从时间和空间两个维度就“中译外”与“外译中”、中国文学英译与非英译展开比较研究,在共性与差异、过去与现在、自我与他者等多种关系的范畴内寻求深化中国文学外译研究的可能路径。

Against the backdrop of exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations,the importance and urgency of Chinese literature's translation have become increasingly prominent,calling for further research on translation of Chinese literature.Considering the unclarities in current discussions,this paper proposes two aspects to advance the research on translation of Chinese literature:firstly,to adopt a problem-oriented approach and focus on core issues in translation of Chinese literature,including translation orientation,translation methods,text reception,and aesthetic criticism,to grasp its essential features and value goals as well as to take an overview of the dynamic process of literary translation and introduction.Secondly,to build a comparative perspective and conduct comparative studies across time and space between translations from and into Chinese,as well as English and non-English translations of Chinese literature,by exploring relationships such as commonality and difference,past and present,self and other,so to seek potential paths for the research on translation of Chinese literature.
