中医药干预肠道菌群防治阿尔茨海默病的研究进展

Research Progress of Traditional Chinese Medicine Intervention on Gut Microbiota to Prevent and Treat Alzheimer′s Disease

阿尔茨海默病(AD)是一种发病原因和发病机制均未明确的中枢神经系统退行性疾病,目前全球范围内尚缺乏有效的防治手段。近年来肠道菌群在维护宿主健康中发挥的作用逐渐引起人们的重视,越来越多的证据表明肠道菌群失调与AD的认知障碍和发病机制相关,且通过调控肠道菌群防治AD已成为AD实验研究和临床治疗的热点。中医药在防治AD方面发挥的作用不容忽视,一些中药有效成分和中药复方被证实具有调节肠道菌群和改善AD症状的作用,有望为AD的科学防治提供新的方向。

Alzheimer′s disease(AD)is a degenerative disease of central nervous system with unclear etiology and pathogenesis.Currently,there is still no effective treatment to prevent or reverse the progression of AD in the world.In recent years,the role of gut microbiota in maintaining the host′s health has gradually attracted people′s attention.There is mounting evidences show that the dysregulation of the gut microbiota is associated with cognitive impairment and the pathogenesis of AD,and the prevention and treatment of AD through the regulation of gut microbiota is a hotspot in the experimental research and clinical treatment of AD.The role of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in the prevention and treatment of AD cannot be ignored.Some active components and formula of TCM have been proved to regulate gut microbiota and improve the symptoms of AD,which are expected to provide a new direction for the prevention and treatment of AD.
