随着我国人口老龄化程度的不断加深,老年群体数量逐年增加,党和政府提前布局,实施“健康中国战略”。中国老年医学抓住机遇,积极发展创新,走出了一条有中国特色的积极应对人口老龄化的道路。各级综合医院响应党和国家的号召,相继开设老年医学科、全力提高老年医学诊疗水平、不断完善老年医学相关人才培养体系、创新老年综合诊疗模式、适时尝试和实施智慧医疗,以助力老年健康,促进学科发展。一系列适应中国国情的发展措施,保障了老年患者健康、促进了老年医学的发展。

With the deepening of China′s population aging,the number of the elderly has been increasing year by year.The Communist Party of China(CPC/the Party)and the government have arranged in advance and implemented the"healthy China strategy".Chinese geriatrics has seized the opportunity,actively developed and innovated,and blazed a path with Chinese characteristics to actively respond to the aging population.In response to the call of the Party and the State,general hospitals at all levels have opened geriatrics departments one after another,made every effort to improve the level of geriatrics diagnosis and treatment,constantly improved the training system of geriatrics related talents,innovated the mode of comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for geriatrics,and tried and implemented smart medicine in a timely manner to assist the elderly health and promote the development of the discipline.A series of development measures adapted to China′s national conditions have ensured the health of the elderly patients and promoted the development of geriatric medicine.
