This paper discusses the role,challenge,purpose and practical measures of color teaching in art education in vocational colleges.Through literature review,case analysis and course design,this paper puts forward some strategies to optimize color teaching,including changing ideas and emphasizing the foundation and systematicness of color teaching.Stimulate students'enthusiasm and interest in learning;strengthen the course design and innovation of color teaching;develop a comprehensive and effective teaching evaluation system.The purpose of this paper is to provide theoretical guidance and practical reference for color teaching in art education in vocational colleges and improve students'color literacy and creativity.
