The paper analyzes the developing experience of the digital books in France to provide reference for promoting the healthy and orderly development of China's digital book market.The article summarizes the development overview and main classifications of the digital books in France,analyzes their publishing status and development characteristics,and finds that there are significant differences in the digitization of various types of books in France.Digital books and traditional paper books are developing together,and the audiobook market is growing rapidly;the government formulates and improves various laws and regulations,and the publishing industry promotes the construction of digital standard systems to ensure the healthy and stable development of digital books;the technological investment and digital platform construction are emphasized;the application and integration of social platforms and new technologies are actively explored.The developing experience of the digital books in France can offer some references for the high quality development of China's digital book industry:improving the construction of the digital publishing standard systems,increasing the technical investment in digital publishing,and strengthening the norms of the digital publishing industry,in order to promote the digital transformation of the traditional book industry and finally achieve the goals of the Digital Cultural Transformation Strategy.
