数字经济发展对区域生态效率的影响研究

Study on the Influence of Digital Economy Development on Regional Eco-efficiency

文章基于2013—2020年中国30个省份的面板数据,借鉴ArcGIS空间分析法探究数字经济发展的区域差异与时空格局,并将面板模型进一步拓展至空间维度,深入剖析数字经济发展对区域生态效率的作用机制与空间效应。结果表明:数字经济发展对区域生态效率具有显著的正向影响,但存在地理区位和指标维度的异质性,数字经济发展仅能促进中西部地区的生态效率提升;在短期内,数字经济发展载体是提升区域生态效率的重要途径,但从长期来看,改善数字经济发展环境才是提升区域生态效率的应有之义。在作用机制上,数字经济发展产生的集聚效应、创新效应和结构效应是提升区域生态效率的重要途径,且创新驱动的中介作用明显大于人力资本集聚和产业结构升级的中介作用。进一步研究表明,数字经济发展不仅能够提升本地区生态效率,也会通过空间溢出效应促进邻近地区生态效率提升。

Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2013 to 2020,this paper explores the regional differences and spatiotemporal patterns of digital economy development by drawing on ArcGIS spatial analysis,and further extends the panel model to the spatial dimension to deeply analyze the mechanism and spatial effect of digital economy development on regional eco-efficiency.The results go as below:Digital economy development has a significant positive impact on regional eco-efficiency,but there is heterogeneity in geographical location and indicator dimensions,and digital economy development can only promote eco-efficiency in central and western regions.In the short term,the carrier of digital economy development is an important way to improve regional eco-efficiency,but in the long term,improving the development environment of the digital economy is the proper meaning of improving regional eco-efficiency.In terms of mechanism,the agglomeration effect,innovation effect and structural effect generated by digital economy development are important ways to enhance regional eco-efficiency,and the intermediary role of innovation driven is significantly greater than that of human capital agglomeration and industrial structure upgrading.Further research shows that the development of digital economy can not only improve the eco-efficiency of the region,but also promote the eco-efficiency of neighboring regions through the spatial spillover effect.
