张朋园、吴雁南与黔台史学交流

Zhang Pengyuan(Chang Peng-yuan),Wu Yannan,and the Historiographical Exchanges between Guizhou and Taiwan

在20世纪下半叶黔台史学交流史上,吴雁南、张朋园扮演了关键的桥梁角色。1989年国民党当局再次放宽岛内民众赴中国内地探亲限制,成为两岸民间文化交流的重要转折点。在吴雁南、余怀彦、冯祖贻等黔省学者鼎力支持之下,张朋园时隔43年完成首次返乡探亲夙愿。随着国民党当局于1992年逐渐放开中国内地学者赴台学术交流限制,两岸史学交流由先前的“南学北移”的单向流动迈入“南学北移”“北学南移”双向并存阶段。得知吴雁南、冯祖贻、何才华等人有意赴台开展学术交流,张朋园积极设法促成,并希望将私人藏书赠与贵州师范大学,聊表作为国民之一分子的心意。1996年,吴雁南国家“八五”社科重点项目结项时,张朋园与章开沅、隗瀛涛共同担任评审专家。得益于吴雁南、张朋园、余怀彦等学者的苦心擘画,黔台史学交流随之启动,为构建两岸命运共同体提供了又一范例。

In the history of historiographical exchanges between Guizhou and Taiwan in the second half of the 20th century,Wu Yannan and Zhang Pengyuan played important roles as bridges.In 1989,the Guomindang authorities relaxed the restrictions on people from the island to visit their relatives on the Chinese mainland,which became an important node for cross-Straits cultural exchanges.With the full support of Wu Yannan,Yu Huaiyan,Feng Zuyi and other scholars from Guizhou Province,Zhang Pengyuan was able to fulfll his long-cherished wish of returning to his hometown for the first time after a lapse of forty-three years.With the gradual liftings of restrictions on Chinese mainland scholars'academic exchanges to the Taiwan island by the Guomindang authorities in 1992,cross-Straits historiographical exchanges have moved from a single flow of"southern scholarship spreading to the north"to a two-way co-existence stage of""the southern scholarship spreading to the north"and"the northern scholarship spreading to the south.Learned that Wu Yannan,Feng Zuyi,He Caihua and other people intend to go to Taiwan to carry out academic exchanges,Zhang Pengyuan actively facilitated,and hoped to donate his private collection of books to Guizhou Normal University,"to express his sincere feelings as a member of the nation."In 1996,when the national"Eighth Five-Year Plan"Social Science Project"Modern Chinese Social Thought(1840-1949),"of which Wu Yannan was the chief expert,was concluded,Zhang Pengyuan,Zhang Kaiyuan and Wei Yingtao served as the reviewing experts.Benefiting from the painstaking efforts of scholars such as Wu Yannan,Zhang Pengyuan,and Yu Huaiyan,the Guizhou-Taiwan exchange of historiography was therefore launched.This is yet another example of building a community of shared destiny across the Taiwan Straits.
