基于新课标评价理念的英语考试形式优化策略

Strategies for Optimizing English Test Formats Based on the Assessment Principles in the New English Curriculum Standards

考试形式的选择直接影响到考试的信度和效度。尽管当前英语考试形式丰富多样,但仍存在选择题比例过高、语言知识考查形式的效度不高、书面表达题的开放性和真实性较低、较少使用基于问题情境的考试形式等问题。基于新课标全面考查学生核心素养的考试与评价理念,提出核心素养背景下英语考试形式的优化策略,包括基于语篇考查语言知识运用能力、根据真实语言使用情形设计考试形式、积极探索基于问题情境的考试形式、注重考试形式的多样性等。

The accountability of test formats directly affects the validity and reliability of tests.Currently,the formats of English tests across China are diverse and varied.However,there are still issues that need to be addressed urgently,such as an excessively high proportion of multiple-choice questions,the low validity of the formats to test language knowledge,the low openness and authenticity of writing tests,and the underuse of problem-based test formats.Grounded in the assessment principles explicated in the new English Curriculum Standards,which emphasize the comprehensive evaluation of students’core competencies,this paper proposes strategies to optimize the design of English test formats.These strategies encompass assessing the use of language knowledge based on texts,using test formats that mirror authentic language use,actively exploring problem-based test formats,and increasing the diversity of test formats.
